About Authentic Ragtime

The Authentic Ragtime Co. is a music publishing company created by Max Keenlyside and Jaime Cardenas. We use this as a way to sell and promote sheet music of our very own contemporary rags.

Our production method is simple. We first use Sibelius to typeset the music. It is then taken to an outside printing service who prints the music on heavy cardstock paper and spiral bound ready to sell.

Our cover sheets are entirely original art, continuing the long tradition of cover-art on ragtime sheet music.

We Will Publish You!

Authentic Ragtime is of course a music publishing company! If you would like for us to publish your music, we want to hear from you!! Just use the form to the right of this!!

You will need to write us a paragraph describing your piece. If you need to mail a manuscript, please let us know in the email you send us. We will respond with an address. Send us a copy of the manuscript, never the original. Alternatively, you can submit your music to us in a Sibelius file OR a Finale file. We will take a look at your music. If we accept it, we will publish the music free of charge. If not accepted, we will let the composer know.
